cazaron
okay, here is how it works. start with: Render> and one of the following: gradient bars, bars, or one of the other render effects. DOWNLOAD PYROCHILDS PLUGIN PACK! IT HAS RANDOM EFFECT! then, do random effect at default settings (the ones it gives you) repeat as many times as you want, using only random effect. REMEMBER!: do not press ctrl+F when repeating random effect. it only repeats the previous effect, not makes a new random. remember to always go into your menu, random effect. also: if your random effect wants to do a render effect that changes your image to something (eg. gradient bars), dont do it, close the effect, and start the random effect again. looking forward to seeing what you guys get! Possum Roadkill
Well that was really strange. After doing 50 random effects, I ended up with a white background with a black oval. Most of the time the random effect produced another render that overwrote the last one. I did however get these at one point along the way. Someday maybe I'll learn when enough is enough. cazaron
woah, cool. first one is awesome. im gonna change the rules so that render images that will render something different on top wont happen. LFC4EVER
This is a good idea, but i suggest that the game sort of follows how the "Image Add-on" game works, so each person takes the image before and applies random effect to it (possibly able to customize settings) and post. And so on. Quote ☆★☆★Merry Christmas★☆★☆ .::.My Gallery.::.Make Gold Text!.::.
cazaron
i object, as we already have an image add on game. people should be able to just go wild and randomise. pyrochild
This one's about 3 steps after the previous. also: if your random effect wants to do a render effect that changes your image to something (eg. gradient bars), dont do it, close the effect, and start the random effect again. You can just click "Randomize Effect" at the top left. pophiri
Here is another result I liked. Thanks for thinking of this game cazaron, it has given me heaps of ideas for drawing things. By putting some wierd effects together you can get some very unexpected results. I just wish I could remember which effects made the above image, it has lots of potential. (ps If random effects chose a render which overwrote only part of the image (say like polygon) I would use it. This is what gave some of my best results, and is hopefully within the rules.) Axle
1. you need the plugin 2. you need to have installed the plugin 3. it must be installed in the right place 4. it is in effects Quote My Deviant Art | My Gallery
pophiri
Random effect is the plugin to use. It is part of Pyrochild's plugin pack (all bow to Pyrochild) and appears at the bottom of your effects menu when loaded. Carazon, it might be worth mentioning this in your opening post. BTW, I like the triangle effect UGA.
UGAdawg591
Lol I've been using the plugin the whole time, I was just confused because the rules say to use random effects with default settings and the plugin uses random settings. @pop: thanks, I put a lot of hard work into it  Quote --> My Gallery<-- "My, what a good day for a 'let it slide'."
