ttrimm
Hi. I am a new convert to Paint.net. Heard about in wikihow IRC and now use it exclusively for screenshots (as opposed to Irfanview, which kept crashing). I write articles for wikihow which is an online how to type of place. It has a great community that I really enjoy. I have noticed that there is very few Paint.net articles there and I am wanting to change that. I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in coming over to www.wikihow.com and write some, or if I could (with permission and resourcing) transpose some tutorials over to wikihow. I look forward to learning more about the program as well. http://www.wikihow.com/User:Ttrimm

ttrimm
It was an offer to share their knowledge of their software that they obviously love...nothing else. Thank you.

Ouchy_S
I'm pretty sure that the site we are on right now fulfills that purpose. No? Quote My deviantART | My Gallery

ttrimm
I have to apologize if I offended anyone. I LOVE wikiHow and it is seen around the world. I also like learning how to use paint software. Evidently, while Paint.Net is user friendly, the forum is not. I will remove myself.
david.atwell
Interesting...I don't see anything that could be classified as mean or unfriendly. Maybe I just have thicker skin... Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
ttrimm
It must be gender specific then...I asked someone else, admittedly a female, was I wrong in feeling the way I did, and she had the same impression that I did...less than welcoming. I don't know for sure, but I am guessing most of the few people that responded were male. I really intended no harm and was just trying to share paint.net with more people. wikiHow has a large audience... I will continue to write articles about paint.net, but they will come a little slower as I learn the program.
