bug: can't save big images bmp/png

Recommended Posts

What is the error message you receive?

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

There's an error on the "save configuration" dialog. The preview file size is shown as (error) and there's no preview.

When I ignore and press ok to save I get the message: "there was an unspecified error while saving the file".

The file is created but it's 0kB in size.

  • 2 weeks later...

I get that error sometimes.

I just copy the whole image, open mspaint, paste, save file, and it works.

nice, neat little workaround.

Universal Law #001: anything and everything that could possibly go wrong can and probably will, and, most likely, at the least opportune time
