I hope you'll find it usefull.

If there's something this tutorial miss or I should've explained better, please tell me.

Thanks to Welshblue for giving ideas for the second version and thanks to david.atwell for fixing some spelling.

On the shape 3D part, When I change the Texture Scale to 0,700, It changes back to 5.000 and makes it look like a pool ball, ???

Edit: Oh nevermind, On your version it is 0,700 on mine its 0.700, Well nice tutorial, I'll post my result when I finish :D

The post above probably has crappy art.. Just look past that

Fixed spelling. Added clarification for American users.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

No biggy but you missed out the typo at the start of the post...Where it says "Fotball" instead of "Football" :)

Good point. :-) Done.

Wow! Great tutorial!

That's my try:

(A bit different)

And That's how I used it:

Hidden Content:
A screenshot from Toribash, mainly a fighting game but with a mod:

Before:

And after:

Yes, the light is a bit wrong, but it looks much better than the blue ball!

Again, great tutorial!

I'm still learning, trying to get better.

Critics, even bad ones, help me.

Thanks everybody for the feedback.

And nice ball there wiirus.

This is sorta breaking rules 5a and 6 in the tut guidelines

I don't feel I break any of these.

Firstly I was not in rush, I took me good time to write and make this.

But it must be a little difference to play with effects and make a fotball?

I didn't just play with some effects, it was delibirated.

Nice idea.

If you use a thicker line width on the hex' ... you can always run the stitch plug-in to make it look more

I like the way you put the grass in, how did you do that? But I see that if you put in the black patches BEFORE using stitch/frosted glass, you dont see those annoying white lines in the patches.

Other wise, job well done!

Sticks and stones may break my bones but words...

words might hurt me deeply, causing great emotional, mental, and psychological damage leading to a lowered self-esteem and decreased work-related efficiency.

^Is that a cricket ball ?

LMAO, you know when I put that grasshopper in there, it never even dawned on me the possibility of misconstruing it the way you did. That's hilarious!

I only added for the sake of spicing it up a tad.
