Jeff54
I have a picture (bitmap) that I would like to enhance one color only. Can it be done and how? I have tried to paint it using colors but it is to fake looking. Thank you!
Myrddin
Good greetings Jeff54. To adjust the one colour channel, you have Curves and Levels at your disposal (http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/en/Curves.html, http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/en/Levels.html, respectively). If, however, you want to change, say, only the red coloured pixels (as opposed to the red channel on the whole image), you can select every red pixel by the Magic Wand - with the Global flood mode - to select all similar pixels within the tolerance range. You can read more on the latter option here: http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/en/MagicWand.html Do say if either is what you're looking for. Curmudgeon
Conditional Hue/Saturation would be my first choice, but the other options Myrddin offered would work as well...all depends on what you're comfortable with

Jeff54
All, the tips work great!!!! I first lasso'd the color I wanted to enhance and then used level, curve, hue/saturation which gave me a rough but great improvement. I will continue to refine my result and deeply appreciate your help. Thanks!!!!! Jeff
