Rick Brewster Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 No. Just run the new installer. It will do everything necessary. Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
davidtayhs Posted July 15, 2006 Author Posted July 15, 2006 Thanks for the quick reply. Hit some problems though. Ran the full installer package which unzipped the files to a directory which when examined did not reveal any files. Checked the version of Paint.NET and it was still 2.63! Will try downloading from another site and try installing from that download. Quote
davidtayhs Posted July 15, 2006 Author Posted July 15, 2006 Downloaded again and succeeded in installation. Noticed that it removed version2.63 in the process. Good to know that for future versions. Thanks again for the great help! Quote
Pc dokter Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 It is the easiest way to update your Paint.NET version when you have opened Paint.NET and then click on File->Updates->Check now. Quote
davidtayhs Posted July 15, 2006 Author Posted July 15, 2006 Right!! Was scurrying around looking for 'File' to find the 'Updates' and then noticed it on the extreme top left of the menu, lol! That will certainly make updating easier for me in future. Thanks! Quote
