maverick464 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2009 I'm new to DSLR pix, but not new to photography. I have hundreds of pix I want to post, yet have no idea how to indicate that they are copyrighted/registered on the internet. I don't use other peoples work and want to protect my work from those who do.[/color]
someone93 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2009 First, you should pay more attention to where you write your topic. This should be in the overflow section. Back to your question: To sign and/or watermark your images is a good way to protect your images (people seem to ignore copyrights quite often...). A plugin that might help is Simon Brown's EasyWatermark.

Ouchy_S 1 Report post Posted March 10, 2009 If you haven't already, make a deviantART account, and upload your artwork on that. When uploading, there is an option to add a watermark to the image, to prevent ripping. Check that box. This also brings more audience to your work, which is an added bonus. Alternatively, you can just write "© YOUR NAME 200#" on all your work.
david.atwell 286 Report post Posted March 10, 2009 Keep in mind, you don't have to actually do anything to copyright your images. Copyrights are in place the moment your photo is taken. A copyright notice is helpful, but not necessary.

Not according to their website. It's possible you mistyped the URI or something and the domain squatter was spreading malware.
flip 2 Report post Posted December 15, 2009 According to Norton, everything on my computer had a virus including norton's scanning program, so it blocked them. You can just add a nice watermark that takes up a big part of the picture.
