weekendrockstar
I couldn't find an answer to this using search so forgive me if it's answered elsewhere in the forums. I am brand new (about 10 minutes in) to paint.net and I am having a text problem. I am working on an image with three layers. I tried putting text onto 2 different layers and it won't appear. I set both primary and secondary colors to black just to be certain that the text should be black. The cursor moves when I type but I cannot see any text. Can't even highlight it to see if the text is phsyically there but can't be seen on the pure white background. Any hints? Much appreciated. Simon Brown
Is the layer visible? Also, check the layer's blend mode.
david.atwell
And make sure that the layer you're typing on isn't covered by another non-transparent layer. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
weekendrockstar
I apologize. I'm a moron. I had to resize the layer. For some reason I seemed to subconsciously believe that the create layers were the same size as the initial layer and therefore the text should show. I resized all of the layers to the size of the first layer and voila...it works.
