tobyz95
Hello, I am new, so hope I can explain what I need in the proper language. I need an 8 pt manual skew that is right on the object, not in a seperate box. Copy an image paste it over another image, then be able to drag the points to fit that image. Transform, then Skew. Get boundary box around the bricks, with little boxes at strategic points. Skew the image up and down in different ways using these boxes, but retain the overall shape. Last picture shows complete with all four sides done. Thanks for your time and any help, Toby
Curmudgeon
wouldn't it be easier using Shape3D plugin? you can use Layers>Rotate/Zoom and turn the angle for perspective, or use Octagonal/Quad Reshape/Matte plugin as well, but I still think it would be much easier with Shape3D
tobyz95
Thanks for responding. No, neither of those work. I need it to work like stretch/skew in msn paint, only a little more advanced so as to put in a fraction of an integer like 25.5 on the vertical. And "quad" is a seperate box, that first of all even if you select by inverting the object you want to skew, only does so by moving the frame that the object is in, leaves the original image, and if you go beyond that, it cuts it off. Thanks anyway, still hoping...
david.atwell
For it to be directly on the object is impossible with a plugin; it would have to be done using an external dialog or be added into the core Paint.NET code itself. Plugins can only do (say it with me!) effects, adjustments, and filetypes. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... tobyz95
It doesn't have to be a plugin, just looking for any info on any program that does this. The photos I posted are from Photoshop5, but it doesn't run on XP.
PyroTechniques
I think you may be looking for the Octagonal Reshape plugin. It can be found in this post: http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=27897&p=233113#p233113 Quote Photobucket Sucks!
