Rick Brewster Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 System.Runtime.InteropServices.SEHException: External component has thrown an exception.at PaintDotNet.SystemLayer.NativeInterfaces.IFileDialog.Show(IntPtr parent) You probably have an errant shell extension installed. This is most likely an issue with other software you've installed. Probably something that adds itself to right-click menus or provides thumbnails (DivX is known to be problematic, for instance). Any other software you installed recently should be highly suspect.
