jp2paint
I only use Paint.NET on a few occasions. Today, I am trying to put some text over an image. I opened the image, created a new layer, then selected the new layer. Went to the Tools control, selected the Text tool (designated with the "A"), clicked a spot in the middle of my layer to write the text, and started writing. The cursor moves, but no text is showing up. I tried using Black as the Primary Color and White as the Secondary Color, then Red as Primary and Black as Secondary. Neither work. What is the secret to using the Text tool? Quote ~Joe Avoid Sears Home Improvement (click to read why)
Kemaru
Have you unchecked the small checkbox in the Layers window? Right next to the Layer name? MadJik
Hi, There is no secret for the text tool! 1.Do not use any selection, or be sure you are typing inside the selection. 2.Make the new layer "visible" (press F4 to check) Quote My DeviantArt | My Pictorium | My Plugins | Donate via Paypal
jp2paint
Not sure what I did wrong, but I created a new project and it worked. Oh well. Case closed, I guess. Quote ~Joe Avoid Sears Home Improvement (click to read why)
