Kamala
Good Evening, I apologize for troubling what must be a very hectic workload. I had originally installed this wonderful program approx. 3-4 days ago, and started to use it slowly, and reading as much of the tutorials/forums, etc. Today, the program opened, missing the usual sub-windows, particularly the one on the bottom left (color palette, I believe) Then, the others on the right disappeared, and the title bar said "untitled, 100%." I've tried uninstalled, and re-installed, but with the same results; I've spent hours going through the many Paint posts/resources, but have not found a similar situation. Please help me. Thank you. Kamala
Good Afternoon, I confess to not understanding what you were instructing- the program is listed in the correct file, etc, and I tried moving icons around, (sorry for being clueless), but now the paint screen reads 53%, and looks somewhat more simplistic, and missing the same areas. Hugs for taking time to help on a Saturday morning! Quote "Listen, or Your Tongue Will Make You Deaf" Native American Proverb

Kamala
Thanks so much for the kind assistance you both have given me - I am determined to "catch-up" on my computer ignorance, (despite that I use it at work all the time) - Learning the nuts and bolts of computers is soooo important. Thanks again - it worked liked a charm. This is an awesome group.
