5.1 horribel version? No function under WIN11

There is not function of version 5.1 after installation unser WIN11. It opens and then it freeze.

The only way to close it is using Win11 task manager.

@MaxM Version 5.1 is not "a horrible version". It's a great version and most people are using it very happily.

Read the recent posts about 5.1 in the Troubleshooting & Bug Reports section of the forum. The freezing problems are caused by external software interfering with Paint.NET.

 

Please install the latest beta of 5.1.1 discussed here https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/132613-paintnet-511-beta-build-9098  and see whether you still have any problems. Most likely you will not.
