And I loose all my work.  I do not know where to find a log file so please direct me where to find it.  This is the second time in as many days this has happened.  I was fortunate the other day as I had just loaded a saved file, tonight not so much and I lost a bunch of work.

I'm not sure if it is important but this has only happened when I am using the clone stamp.

Thanks

When you get the error, click Show Details, then Copy to clipboard.

Ctrl+V paste the error details here, preferably inside a Spoiler section (click the 'eye' icon on the toolbar above).

The error dialog:

That’s not a crash though, that’s just your clipboard being locked by another app on your system.

You misunderstand and I have confused you.

My comment was directed at @Ronstang in response to their "I do not know where to find a log file so please direct me where to find it."

I was showing them what to click. I should have cropped the screenshot so that the old exception details were not visible.

It just happened again, and as before when I was using the clone stamp.  Not sure if it is important but I was scrolling down the border of a picture to blend the edge.

@Ronstang

Looks like you're just out of disk space.

Try deleting some files to free up some capacity.

On the system drive?  So 70 Gb is not enough space?  The picture I am editing is a Mb in size.  I have 64 Gb of system memory too so I can't see this as a resource thing.

When posting a crashlog or diagnostics, please copy and paste the text, rather than pasting a picture of the text. If the text is available it can be scanned by the log analyser and can be searched easily.

We need the diagnostics info.

The error says you are out of disk space. It isn't lying or hallucinating.

My guess is that you've set your pagefile to be 0 MB.

No, my pagefile is the standard size for Windows 11 and I have ~50Gb of virtual memory available.   The only thing I can think of is that emby is not real good at handling it's transcoding temp files and sometimes the C drive gets consumed and then all of a sudden it resets and deletes all the dormant files.  Something tells me that it it Paint.NET that is triggering the emptying when it crashes.

That seems unlikely. The crashing of Paint.NET because there is no disk space when it tries to write its session file will not trigger Emby into cleaning up.

The lack of disk space itself may be the trigger for Emby but there won't be a link between Paint.NET and Emby.

Nothing can be done to investigate the problem you reported you unless you post your Paint.NET diagnostics as requested by @Rick Brewster

Go to :Settings: Settings > Diagnostics > Copy to clipboard and then paste the copied text here inside a Spoiler section (click the eye icon above).
