paint-net freezes - doesn't finish opening

I downloaded the latest update and it stopped working, It opens but doesn't finish opening, so it just freezes and can't be used. I use the task manager to close it.

It's a bit blow. I tried uninstalling it and paid Microsoft to download the latest version, it didn't make any difference. 

Any suggestions?

I'm guessing you're using Sentinel One antivirus?

Thank you thank you thank you! It looks OK now. I hadn't appreciated before just how much paint.net is part of my life.

@telaviv1 If you haven't done so, you should also update to the latest beta as it contains further fixes.
