seontonppa Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Hello! I'm loving version 5 so far and I've been wondering about a feature in addition to the current view options (like Zoom to Window, Zoom to Selection and Actual Size). A Fit-to-Screen / Zoom to Image -zoom option would be very nice when working with small images. I do a lot of work on textures and sometimes they can be tiny (an example would be the default textures being 16x16 in Minecraft). When I open a lot of small texture files I usually go through all of them in order with a macro that does the following in order: 1. Ctrl + A (select all) 2. Ctrl + Shift + B (zoom to selection) 3. Ctrl + D (unselect) A separate option that achieves the same as the keybinds above would be a nice time saver for me and possibly other artists working on pixel art. Also an option in the Settings to make a certain zoom option the default one would nicely go with it. I understand that this feature might not be one of the most requested ones (I found only a couple of threads and Google results spanning several years), but I still think it would be a reasonable addition to the features. Separate feedback not related to the suggestion: I have been using Paint.NET for over 12 years now and I've always loved it. The design choices behind features are always logical and amazing work on the updates over the years. 5.1 is amazing, great work! Quote
