Trickily7227 Posted November 28 Posted November 28 The workaround installer you provided works well for me with agent version 23.4.5.337 Is this version still capable of self updating ? or will we need to check manually every now and then ? If it's capable of self updating, do we need to postpone future updates until we have confirmation that this no longer happens with Sentinel One or is this workaround going to be included in all future release until the issue is resolved ? Rick Brewster Posted November 28 Posted November 28 I just published 5.1.1 beta build 9098 for everyone, it should now work smoothly for folks with Sentinel One: 1 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html

Yes it will self-update -- in fact, it can already offer you the newer 5.1.1 beta build 9098. I'll be publishing a non-beta 5.1.1 soon-ish. So there's no need to postpone updates, etc. I've been talking with someone at Sentinel One and they will be letting me know when the fixes are available and what versions they are. Once I have that information I will bake it into the app so that the workaround is only applied to the older versions of S1. 1 1 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
