Ring of Shapes

Hello. I feel like I've asked a very similar question a few years back but I need help again.

 

I am trying to form a ring of shapes spaced at regular intervals, like the stars on the flag of the European Union. This frame / ring would be composed of 14 circles.

I have tried using the plugins mentioned in that thread, but dots turn into squares, spacing becomes irregular, and any attempt to use the Polar Transformation Plugin has resulted in man-made horrors beyond my comprehension.

You can do the circles with @Ego Eram Reputo's Organigram plugin. 🙂
