KidBoy140
If I have a circle/curved shape, can I put a Linear gradient all the way round the circle? I hope this makes sense and I hope you can help me. Thanks in advance.
Curmudgeon
an example would be nice, because a linear gradient all the way around a circle would be the same as a radial gradient
ZizOiz
Perhaps you could copy the shape you want the gradient to be, turn the copied shape black, put it on a white background, gaussian blur it on a high setting, and use gradient mapping. hope this helps Quote Click on my signature image for my gallery | hmmmm... LFC4EVER
I remember asking about this some time ago. Ash (thanks Ash!) told me to use Polar Transformation. Its in Madjik's plugin pack if you haven't got it. Examplar tut: Draw a black to white linear gradient from left to right. Effects > Distort > Polar Transformation Set it to "Rectangular to Polar", rest of the settings at default. Done! Easy eh? Note: A linear reflected gradient + polar trasformation is the same as a conical gradient. Quote ☆★☆★Merry Christmas★☆★☆ .::.My Gallery.::.Make Gold Text!.::.
