CyanSlime
I've recently updated my motherboard and CPU, and when attempting to reinstall paint.net, I just get a single textbox that says "Fatal Error" with no installation. I've seen the other thread that says to go to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d and download the tool, but I can't even download it. I click it, it opens the page, then it just... doesn't download anything. I tried to download it on edge and it was entirely blocked "for my safety" which has left me with no choices but to ask for help here! I've used paint.net for years, and this is the first time i've had any issues with it.
CyanSlime
I suppose I should add, I was previously running windows 10, now i'm running windows 10 professional. I've reinstalled all related drivers, and have no other errors with programs. I assume the issue is due to the old install, but since I can't remove it, i'm entirely stuck. Solution toe_head2001 Posted September 18 Solution Share Posted September 18 This is just a case of Microsoft Edge being dumb. Simply select the "Keep" option. Quote (September 25th, 2023) Sorry about any broken images in my posts. I am aware of the issue. CyanSlime
This worked perfectly! Thank you. Apologies I couldn't figure that out myself, i'm usually more technologically literate! Now i've got to go find my plugins.
