How do I fix an overlay being applied to a transparent background?

Hello PDN Forum, recently I was working on a design and when I exported said design with a transparent background, the overlay had applied to the transparent background. How might I fix this?

Did you flatten the image prior to export?

 

What file format did you save the exported image as?

Hi, @Ego Eram Reputo. I always export in PDN and PNG. I use the PNG as a finished result, because the platform I use my designs on only accepts PNGs.

How about uploading the PDN image so we can have a look?

Try zipping it then uploading.

@Aeliano It would be helpful if you could say what the problem was/how you solved it/what you learned. That way, other people searching the forum for solutions to their overlay/transparency problems won't end up reading a thread that just ends with "Nevermind..."
