Starting Paint.Net with a fixed picture size

Is there any possibility to start paint.net with a fixed picture size (e.g. 1000 px by 800 px).

I checked all the settings, but I didn't find something there.

Changing the picture size manually is an option, but with the next opening there is a standard pictures size again.

I am a teacher from Austria and we use paint.net in our computer lessons, so I am not an IT-Expert

any help is appreciated

The default canvas size cannot be changed, unfortunately, but there is a 'work-around', by creating a read-only Pdn file template and then opening the program by opening the template (via a desktop shortcut).

There are instructions on how do that here.
