Toma007
Hi, It seems that PNG 8 format support alpha transparency (and gracefully degrades in IE6). See : http://www.sitepoint.com/blogs/2007/09/ ... ar-winner/ and : http://yuiblog.com/blog/2008/12/08/imageopt-5/ and also : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portable_N ... y_of_image Paint.Net does not seems to handle PNG 8 alpha transparency (only "gif like" transparency) when saving to PNG 8. Am I right ? If so, could this feature be added to any future release ? Thank you, Toma. PS : The documentation does not seems to be up to date (for example, the part about saving images : no word about PNG color depth), is there a "wiki like" back end ? I would be glad to contribute ! harold
You could write a file type plugin, that would be nice Quote I would write plugins, if I knew what kind of plugins were needed..
