Cleaning up a Logo

The logo is small, low resolution, and is not antialiased; hence all the jaggies.

 

Rather than clean up this image, if you could determine the font you could recreate it without the defects.

 

The nearest font I could find is OPTIFlare but if you search you might find the exact font used.

 

Here is your image at the top and a re-creation below with antialiased (Smooth) rendering and at 4 x your image size. You can then resize down to the actual size you require.

Excellent, thank you Tactilis. Just downloaded OPTIFlare...

 

FYI, I am programming a Screensaver, so it has to be "clean" or else the background bleeds through the edges
