BoltBait
You can easily fix this problem by doing the following: Select the paint brush tool. On the toolbar, change the blending mode to "Overwrite" :NormalBlending:  :OverwriteBlending: and the anti-alias off :AntiAliasingOn:  :AntiAliasingOff: . Rick Brewster
This is just a weirdism with the way the paintbrush's rendering is implemented. If you actually want to draw a brush stroke at a lower alpha, the "correct" way to do this right now is to make a new layer, set the opacity of the layer and then draw a regular (alpha = 255) brush stroke on that. Then, merge down when you need to. easteregg
but thats not the same, cause i can control the opacity of the pen with the pressure...
Rick Brewster
The opacity of the pen isn't controllable with pen pressure anyway.
