Olim
Have recently installed Paint.net, but can't find my saved pictures on my computer? Where do they get saved to? Can they be saved as jpg images?
edgar
Open paint.net (directly – do not open it by double clicking on a file icon for a supported image file type); go to the “File” Menu and Select “Save As”. A “file save” dialog will open offering the you the choice to save the file in the default directory: paint.net remembers the last folder you saved to and/or the parent folder of the image you just opened. Choose from the “save as type” drop-down for JPEG (or your other desired format).

They get saved in the folder that you choose when saving. 55 minutes ago, Olim said: Can they be saved as jpg images? Yes, of course. As you are new to paint.net, take some time to read the excellent Documentation. Click the Help icon top right and select Documentation. Look at Menus > File Menu > Save and Save As
