bydaan
Hello, I'd like to select only the stuff that I marked red, I normally use the magic wand but when it comes to the upper part the selection doesnt look good even with a small hardness. Maybe someone can help me out or can show me a useful plugin maybe. Thanks in advance!
BlastOfBN
Have you tried adjusting the tolerance of the magic wand?
BoltBait
That looks like a really hard thing to select. Maybe there is a different way to deal with it. Why are you trying to select it? If you’re trying to change the color, for example, you could try the Conditional Hue/Saturation plugin. If you want to copy the lightning to another image, you could do a rough selection and then delete the background with the Color Reaper plugin. Ego Eram Reputo
I'd 'build' the selection using multiple selections with the Magic Wand at low tolerance. Make the first selection then progressively reduce the tolerance until only the bit you want is selected. Hold down the CTRL key and make your next selection. Adjust the tolerance as you need. Repeat 2 as often as you need to complete the selection. No, @BlastOfBN doesn't mean that. Magic Wand has a Tolerance setting, not Hardness. See https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/MagicWand.html Are you attempting to use a different tool perhaps? I need it seperated from it since I want that specific part on a texture. Color Reaper Plugin looks good, might be the plugin I need
