YungTanjiro
Hi everyone, I've been using Paint NET for over 7 years now, and I wanted to share with you the experience I've gained over the years using Paint NET At the beginning I learned about the software thanks to a Minecraft tutorial about making texture packs, and over the months I began to completely get used to the software and know almost all the options/effects, and I really liked drawing on paper but I wanted to make a transition to digital but at that time I didn't have a graphic tablet so I automatically went to Paint NET to make drawings 2019 - One of my first drawings, at first I had a lot of trouble drawing lines with the mouse so I used the Lasso tool, it helped me a lot 2020 - The following year, I gained experience, I was more confident when i drew the lines, I had planned to make a webtoon but I was too slow to create a single panel so I abandoned the project 2021 - That year was the time when I was the most productive, I no longer even felt the need to have a graphic tablet but I was still to attached to the Anime style 2022 - I began to better master the fundamentals, perspective, anatomy, shading 2023 - I started to refine my style which was very close to digital painting, to create progressive shading I took the Color Picker tool I selected a pixel between my two shades and I created this effect End 2023 / 2024 - This time I slowed down my pace, I did one drawing every 3 months but I continued to progress and learn Finally, what I have learned as a lesson over the years is that software support doesn't make the artist, despite all the software available, I chose Paint NET due to its very intuitive interface, so I continued and I still continue to draw on Paint NET, moreover before 2023 I was not aware of the existence of the Paint NET forum, I discovered lots of intersting plugins and I was greatly helped by plugins, so thanks you very much 🙂 2 1
