Grow/Shrink Selection

Is there a way to grow a selection directly by 10 pixels in all directions or to shrink it in a similar way in paint.net?

PDN can't do that as of now.

But there are some ways to get around it.

First, download and install the "Outline Object" plugin ( http://searchpaint.net can find it for you).

Then:

Make your selection.

Create a new layer. ( :AddNewLayer: )

Select the new layer and press the Backspace key to fill the area with your primary color (which color doesn't matter)

Run "Outline Object" to expand the selection size.

Select Magic Wand and use it outside the shape to select the transparent area.

Invert the selection.

Return to the previous layer.

Yay!
