mhoeller
Hello, every time when I save my *.pdn file as *.png to do some further editing with GIMP I loose the layer information. Or at least GIMP shows the full information in one layer. Do I something wrong, did I mess a point? Thought this would be possible. Thanks a lot Michael
entY8
PNG doesn't support layers

mhoeller
ups, thought png supports this. Which format beside pdn can I use to keep the layer information? I need to use GIMP and GIMP does not read pdn. Any hint? Thanks a lot Michael
aatwo
there is no other format. Just copy and paste each layer into a new layer in the gimp respectively.... Quote Deviant Art Gallery
Crazy Man Dan
Well, in the Plug-in forum, you can download the .psd file format plug-in. After that is installed, both PDN and GIMP will be able to read-write to PSD format. That's what I use as a go between! You can get it here: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1238 Quote I am not a mechanism, I am part of the resistance; I am an organism, an animal, a creature, I am a beast. ~ Becoming the Archetype
