hey guys, would appreciate a little help, i can't seem to find it anywhere, not even on Fender.com, and on some videos it's a 5 way switch apparently, and on some spec sheets it's a 3 way switch...

With the American Deluxe 2010 model, (Strat), in sunset metallic,

How many ways is the pickup switch (not including S1)? Is it a 5way, or a 3way, just bridge, middle, neck, or is it bridge, bridge/middle, middle, middle/neck, neck?

If anyone could let me know, i'd most appreciate it.

Thanks.

Yay new post in this.

It depends, some people on those videos may have changed the pick-ups themselves and therefore the pick-up selection.

Also for my home set up I have it fairly simple.

Okay, thanks Sfifer, i'm not sure what modifications have been done, hopefully it's a 5way switch.

I may be getting an american deluxe later this year, so...

Nice Ibanez! SAS32 is awesome, i love the binding. fret inlays are nice too. the Cube amp packs a nice sound too, nice setup.

I love it, the White looks super sexy. Only bad thing is the floating bridge is really annoying, you cant use the whammy bar a whole lot and if you tune the guitar to another tuning then tune it back to standard you must tune it about 3-4 times for it to stay in tune.

Billie Joe Armstrong signature!

Okay, it isn't really a beginner's one, but it is so damn awesome. Not to mention it's used by the meanest guitarist ever.... BJA ftw! :D

@Sfifer,

It's Bille Joe Armstrong. Y'know, the one from Green Day? His white guitar is the most awesome one ever.

Except for this one:

That guitar is truly unbeatable. Actually, I'd like to see someone post a pic of a guitar that does beat this one. I challenge you...

I really don't see this guitar as being very practical. You can play either left or right handed. So if you're not seriously good at playing with both, one side's gonna make you play much worse than you could. But it does look pretty cool.

exactly why i don't like it as much.

sure, it's fantastic to watch, but it's got no emotion or feeling.

exactly, you sit there going. "Thats impressive sure, but you're just playing 5 notes really fast in the same order"

Okay, so it seems that guitar doesn't have much that'd make people want to see it being used...

I'm still on top! Yay!
