Jcollins
Im working on a supplement for a game and Im trying to get something along the lines of the picture below. Obviously not the exact same thing but something very similar (in regards to the metal looking bindings) Ive scrubbed through a few tuts and Ive done some work myself on the matter I just cant seem to nail it though and I was hoping some one might be able to point me in the right direction. thanks again, JC
Crimson
First, make the basic rectangle shapes of the binding. Then try using a Linear Reflected Gradient on a new layer, and experiment with layer blend modes (Hint: Color Dodge). For the texture, use Clouds. Ego Eram Reputo
Two tutorials leap to mind: Brushed Metal with Shine and Color and Chrome 101 a community tutorial. Are these the tutorials you worked through?
