Can Paint.NET smooth the edge of a pixel based sprite with anti aliasing just like DeluxePaint ?

I remembered DeluxePaint has such a feature to smooth pixel edge by dragging cursor along and over the edge of pixels which already held on a canvas.

I understand, Paint.NET has the anti aliasing drawing with color, what I refers to is the canvas already has pixel sprite on it, I want to smooth the edge of the sprite which already has color.

Does Paint.NET has such feature and how do I perform such feature if available ?

If your sprite is on a transparent layer, then you can use AA's Assistant to sharpen the 'jaggies'.

If your sprite is already committed to a background layer, then you could remove the background, then use AA's Assistant on it.

I just tried the AA's Assistant, it smooth out the entire edge of sprite like below, does Paint.NET has the features to use mouse to manually left mouse click to smooth out a portion of edge and not entire edge ?
