Myrddin
Hello CaptRon. ...when seting a seconadary color to 100% transparency is that just 100 on the transparency-alpha seting in the color palettNo, if I understand you correctly. - 100% transparency will mean you will not see the colour when it is applied to the canvas, the setting in the Color window will be 0. - 0% transparency (you will fully see the colour) will be 255 in the Color window. Have a play around with the dial to see for yourself. when setting the blend mode say for the cloud affect is that done in the cloudbox when rendering cloud effects or is that done in the layer optionsIt can be both depending what you are wanting to do. The blend mode from the Cloud dialog will effect only the rendering of the effect, not the layer. The blend modes in the Layers dialog will effect the whole layer, not just the effect.Don't forget the Help Files if you are confused with anything, with each page harbouring a translation menu at the top for easy translation into a few select languages: http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/en/index.html Does this clear anything up for you?
