Teya87 Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Hi, Im New Here And Was Wondering If There Was A Plugin Or A Way To Achieve The Look Of B/W Photos With Coloured Secctions? For Example.. Have A Coloured Photo Turned To B/W But Leave The Eyes Blue? Or The Hair Or Whatever. There Is An Effect In Picasa ( Google Image Blog Program ) Called Focale B/W. Where You Can Do This To An Extent But It Kinda Sucks, lol. Is There Any Plugin Or Technique That Im Missing? Ive Tried Colouring The Pieces In Myself But It Really Looks Bad... Any Help Or Advice Would Be Greatly Appreciated! Thanx Teya. Quote http://satanic-school-girl.deviantart.com My New Sig! Im New At This So Please Be Nice...
david.atwell Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Go to searchpaint.net and search for "Color and Black and White." :-) Thanks. EDIT: Okay, the search hasn't updated for the new Tutorials section. Look here: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=26974 Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... proudmom83107 Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I have utilized the tip and directions of the Pleasantville Effect but I seem to be having a slight problem with it. When I select my item to be in color, I do the layers but then when I merge for the final image there are specs of my colorized image that are splotchy and not everything got in the selection. I used the magic wand but it is not capturing a smooth effect. Any suggestions? Quote
Crimson Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Use this tutorial to cut out the part of the image you want. That will give you smooth edges. Quote Create A Professional-Looking Product Advertisment Mockup flickr | Deviant Art
