Hi,

Im New Here And Was Wondering If There Was A Plugin Or A Way To Achieve The Look Of B/W Photos With Coloured Secctions? For Example.. Have A Coloured Photo Turned To B/W But Leave The Eyes Blue? Or The Hair Or Whatever.

There Is An Effect In Picasa ( Google Image Blog Program ) Called Focale B/W. Where You Can Do This To An Extent But It Kinda Sucks, lol. Is There Any Plugin Or Technique That Im Missing?

Ive Tried Colouring The Pieces In Myself But It Really Looks Bad...

Any Help Or Advice Would Be Greatly Appreciated!

Thanx Teya.

Go to searchpaint.net and search for "Color and Black and White."

:-) Thanks.

EDIT: Okay, the search hasn't updated for the new Tutorials section. Look here: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=26974

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

I have utilized the tip and directions of the Pleasantville Effect but I seem to be having a slight problem with it. When I select my item to be in color, I do the layers but then when I merge for the final image there are specs of my colorized image that are splotchy and not everything got in the selection. I used the magic wand but it is not capturing a smooth effect. Any suggestions?
