Remember, Layers and blending are your friends.

1.New Image--Pick the color you want for the sky, USE Clouds

8.Add New Lyayer---Move Layer down---fill layer with color of the ocean.

(If you want a Sun...Now would be a good time to add a new layer with a Sun before the next step)

Done :) This is what you end up with

(Note: The Sunset took much more adjustments and layers to finish, so keep working on it until you are happy with it)

Hope this helps..

Ideas & comments welcome :)

Edit:

Added these step from my post on the 2nd page of this tut.

Ok :) Let's do a simple one for the sun.

Follow the settings as image above for all layers.

For the sun use Glow and Gaussian Blur and Zoom Blur in any order as you like...mix and match :)

After you finish---flatten image---use water

You should have your 1st sunset :)

You should draw the sun before you use the water plugin, so the sun will have a reflection as well, and remember to give the sun more then just 1 color. Center is brighter, and try with a few layers for the sun and try different blending modes between layers to see what effect will be.

Hope this helps :)

Let me know if there are more questions 8)
