Freddy
Hello Paint.NET community: Can anybody tell how to do the second step? "Set the blending mode of the waterdrop layer to "overlay"" I tried differnt things but nothing worked... Thanks Freddy
MattBlackLamb
Press F4 then in the drop-down box select the blending mode that you need dA Son, someday you will make a girl happy for a short period of time. Then she'll leave you & be with men that are ten times better than you can imagine. These men are called musicians.

dawmail333
How is it? I used layers>zoom to 1.5x on the drop section, and I used drop shadow on the droplet, instead of using the circular area. Nidoking
For those of you having trouble getting rid of the exess black and covering it with transparent, all you have to do is delete the section of the layer that you were going to make transparent, it does the same thing. slcirishgirl
I am not able to get the drop shadow to work. I don't think I'm doing the transparent color correctly or something. I can't get the under shadow to appear.

Darkmaniak
Seems like this can make water text too :o I'll try tomorrow, it's too late to do it now xD All of the graphics in my sig added up to larger than the 150px height limit so BoltBait deleted them. Eraesr
After even getting private messages about the whole transparency thing, I've added extra text to the tutorial to explain how to do it.

Motoko21
I really liked the tutorial. I showed my mom the pic and she thought it was real . Very realistic. My signature was way too big, so a helpful moderator deleted it. I support the FairTax.

K_I_N_G
I tried this with text (which took a bit longer) and it didnt come out too well. The text was barely visible so I had to outline it (as lightly as possible) heres what I came up with: Bloody Tentacles Tut (fixed link) My gallery
RyuinfinityPDN
You need an individual gradient for each letter. I made good water text with this tut. Check it out: Seamonkey is from another forum BTW. -- Make an Explosion in Space--

hearts_dreams
I made another one with earth. Sort of symbolic. But its not very clear. I had to make earth tiny to look good I think it worked ok. What do you think? Currently dreaming in colour...
