[тωιѕт] Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Too bad it uses old .Net framework. If it weren't for that I'd download.... Quote
Simon Brown Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 You can install 1.0 and 2.0+ side-by-side IIRC. Quote
cupidspet Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 I have a suggestion! When you are exporting your brushes, if you want to skip the step where you have to put the brushes in PDN just export them straight to the custom brush folder. I find this goes quicker and takes less memory on your computer ~~~TARA!~~~ Quote
Fayne Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Stickied at the top of the plugin section is my plugin pack, which includes CustomBrushesMini. I can't seem to open it I have the .dll files and everything in the effects folder, but I don't know how to open the 'draw with custom brushes' tool. Edit: I also don't know where to find the Paint.NET user files that you all keep talking about. Edit Edit: Nevermind, I found where the tool is here viewtopic.php?f=16&t=30524 Quote
shirobu Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 howdy, im having some didfficulties with this. i can upload the brushes easily, get them into paint.net etc, but it has some weird bugs. if i put a brush on my canvas, undo it, then put the brush on again, and stuff up again, it wont undo. so basically i can only undo it once =[ also, i cant delete brushes from the selection of brushes on the side when in paint.net. is there a way to delete some of the brushes because some i dont want anymore. please help me if u have a solution to these problems Quote
DramasticStar Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I meant to post here earlier but somehow I clicked on a different page in my browser and posted to another without realizing it. (sorry ><) But I cant load the ABR viewer like its supposed to. It loads up, but then I try to load a set of brushes into it. At that point it just crashes. Would it have anything to do with the fact that I'm running Windows 7? Or would another problem be causing this? Quote
csm725 Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 @The poster above me I have Windows 7 and it also doesn't work. XP gave no problems, so yes, it probably has to do with Windows 7. Sarkut Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 For extracting/viewing .abr files, there is another program with a similar name, ABRView. It uses Java runtime instead of .NET. Works well, is easy to use on Vista. If you have Windows 7, and this works for you, please report back here. http://www.easyelements.com/abrview.html Quote
csm725 Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Works fine, but how do I extract the .png files? Here is a screenshot: EDIT: Oops. Nevermind, it works now. Sarkut Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Look for a folder named - ABRViewImages, in the same directory where you ran the ABRView.exe. On Vista, the folder is created automatically and the extraction to that folder seems to be automatic also. Quote
csm725 Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Okay, thanks. It works now. Thanks sooooo much!!!! Quote My deviantART | Sig Battles | My Tutorials | csm725.com Click to enter or vote in the official Paint.NET competitions! COMPETITIONS: LOGO OF THE WEEK
NinjaManDan21 Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 How do I convert the files I open to .png format? There's no option for this in the viewer. NinjaManDan21 Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Boy do I feel dumb! It converts it automatically when you double click the file to view the images and puts it in an 'ABRView Images' folder that it creates.
