marsnme
I like the look of this tutorial, I love space scenes. But something is throwing me off, and i don't want to go through the entire thing and have it turn out like bloody potato before i ask the question. Add a new layer :AddNewLayer: add Noise :AddNoise: add Gaussian Blur Radius: 2-3 [depend on your Planet Size] :GaussianBlur: Switch to a "Planet layer" select all space out of your Planet . Switch back to your "Blurred Noise Layer" press ENTF to delete. This line is confusing me, what is ENTF? I tried pushing those letters and all it did was change my tools around. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Joe Quote Joe

AmazeMe
Jayed I used your first Spacescapes tut (the one for the sig) and came up with this http://amazeme.deviantart.com/art/Solar-flare-112712507 Great tut BTW thanks!!!
Pinpickle
I feel as though something isn't working. I load the xml in shape 3D and I get this It doesn't make sense. Frozen_byte
O_o Bam! seriously it is senseless! But I don't Think you loaded my xml. My XML is: Scaling: 0.300 Horizontal Radius: 1.00 Depth Radius: 1.00 Vertical Radius: 1.00 x: -0.50 y:-0.50 z:-1.00 Refractive Rate: 1.00 Ambient Lightning: 0.05 Diffuse Reflection Rate: 1.

Dale08
please tell me my spelling mistakes, so its easier to read! bold words are spelling mistakes well, very first sentence okay her is another way to make Spacescapes like this: 3rd section of Your Background Dublicate you first Layer :DuplicateLayer: and apply Frostet Glass plugin :FrostedGlass: : Maximum/Minimum Scatter Radius: 0.11Smoothness: 1 1st section of Your Planets Add new Layer :AddNewLayer: Take a color by your choise and fill the new Layer :FillSelection:. 4th section of Your Planets Add a new Layer between your last Planet layer and Background again :AddNewLayer:Switch to a "Planet layer" select all space out of your Planet and press STRG+I to invert selection :InvertSelection:. Fill selection with White [or another light color] :FillSelection:. Add gauusian blur, radius: around 15 :GaussianBlur:. 3rd section of Cosmical Clouds Use GauusianBlur radius: ~35 :GaussianBlur:Take another color, lower your size, add :GaussianBlur: radius: ~30. Take another color, lower your size [or don't do it], add :GaussianBlur: radius: ~25, again. Do this a couple of times, till you got this: Section 10 of Cosmical Clouds Dublicate the Starscape layer and set Blendmode to overlay: Section 1 of Second Planet Read above [second chapter] to see the specific way, her is just a conspectus And last sentence, I'm not sure if it meant to be l33tsp3ak. Have Phun After reading the last paragraph i found out your German so i can understand the mistakes, if you have firefox as your browser you can download dictionaries to your computer i'm sure internet explorer and safari has the same feature. Like english. Once again nice tutorial. If you need any help finding the right spellings for words you can always ask me Oh and i missed 1 mistake but i can't remember where it was. edit: here's what i made click to enlarge

wiseguy149
Great tut. My first try sucked. Here's my kinda decent second try: CLICK ME Here's my awesome third (not completely finished) try: As you can see, I used some different textures and angles for the planets, and covered the whole thing in color. I would recommend to everyone that you move the second sun layer below the planet layer, it makes the effect much better. (oh, and btw, this is my first post, though I've been browsing this forum unregistered for the few days I've had paint.NET) Quote I is person man.
