eager to learn
Hi All, I'm new to paint.net so I;m trying to learn it by doing task by task. I'm not sure if the terminology migrates from GIMP to paint.net? Ex. remove a background I'm posting a list of some of the task names in GIMP with hope that they are named (and perform the same task) the same as GIMP. If you would pls. possibly share any paint.net tutorial links with thees names, I'd so appreciate your kind help. Thank you! Pixey
Hello @eager to learn and welcome to the forum You can learn a lot by looking at how other people have dealt with the same questions. We have a great Search Tool on the forum. Just type in the subject and you will be taken to a list of similar questions; then you can see the answers and suggestions. Good luck If there are any you can't find, then please post back and ask 😉 Oh and most of us use a free site to remove backgrounds. Have you worked your way through all of the well written paint.net documentation, trying things out as you go? See https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/index.html or click the question mark icon at the top right of the paint.net window. Once you have mastered the native capabilities, it's then time to explore the plugins that greatly extend the functionality https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/15260-plugin-index/
