HankP Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 (edited) Seems like a simple question, but I searched the forum and did not find the answer. Is there a simple way (key macro type thing) to toggle between sampling in the whole Image versus within the active Layer? Thx ps. While I am asking "toggle" questions, is there a quick way to toggle between the B/W Primary/Secondary colors and custom colors that you have selected? It would be handy to have PDN store the most-recent set ofcustom colors and to toggle quickly between them and the B/W. Edited May 24, 2023 by HankP Quote
Solution Rick Brewster Posted May 24, 2023 Solution Posted May 24, 2023 You can hold Ctrl to force sampling the whole layer. Says so right in the status bar: Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html

Searching the Documentation (https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/ or click the icon top right in paint.net) is the best thing to do when looking for an answer. The Control option does nothing there. Edited May 27, 2023 by HankP Quote
