PDN freezing/crashing on startup/doing anything + how to downgrade?

Hey!
I recently upgraded to update 5, I really like it but there is a few issues that I am facing:
A - ALL OF MY PLUGINS DONT WORK!!!
B - Crashing and freezing VERY common

If there is any way to downgrade to roughly 4.7 or so, that'd be great!
(if anyone has an installer too, that'd be awesome)
Thanks!

Time to upgrade your plugins.  Go to the forum and download all the latest plugins to replace the older ones on your system.

My plugin pack, for one, has been completely rewritten for PdN 5.0+ and has a TON of new features.  I think you'll like it.

Post a crash log here and someone will help you get to the bottom of it.

Some things to try:

- Windows updates

- Update your graphics drivers

- Make sure all your plugins are updated

There is not.  So, let's get your 5.0 working properly!

It's not possible to downgrade, and you won't find older versions here. They are not supported in any way -- which includes providing any kind of download links. Only the latest version has any kind of support.

Try to see which Plugins are causing problems.  Go to the cog wheel ⚙, upper right of the canvas, click on Plugins and see what is listed:

Also, you might want to try the Repair Tool from the PDN main folder:

OS (C:) – Program Files – Paint.net – scroll down to the  PdnRepair.exe and run it.
