Issue: Color Palette Prim & Sec Colors

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

There seems to be a bug or at the least, unexpected behavior. If primary color is selected, Left mouse click sets primary and right click sets secondary. Everything works until you change primary to secondary then both mouse buttons change only the secondary color. The behavior is not consistent.

Can we please add this to the "to fix list"... My many thanks.

Edit: Since you can click on the Foreground & background swatches, also reverse them with the arrow, Im not sure why there is a drop down box with Prim & Sec.

a suuuuuuuuuuper old design decision that I don't like but that I haven't gotten around to addressing. Especially since the code for the Colors window is extremely complicated and very fragile.

Understandable. Probably a feature you can change to your liking in PDN 6.x. I've been using PDN for so long it's a thing I never really questioned or noticed the redundancy, if that's what you want to call it.

This was really the main issue I wanted to address. I was wondering now that the Gamma and other fixes are complete, can we add this to the to do list?

The other point mentioned I feel like is less important and I trust @Rick Brewster's decision and direction for this one.
