I like this effect. Quite nice, and very simple.

After the steps of the tutorial are finished, you can toy around with Curves, Brightness and Contrast, and Hue and Saturation adjustment to color it. You could use the Edfects Color Filter effect to colorize it as well. Contrast is one of the big things, I've found, as it adds dynamic range to the color palette of the image. Mine up there also used the Glow plugin to add an ethereal air to the composition.

No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio

Ok well, I just started using paint. I've manage to find the Clouds under the "Effects" tab, but thats mostly it.

Maybe if you gave a little bit more of a descriptive tutorial on how to make this? If so, Thanks!

Uh... Did you try following the steps as listed in the tutorial?

Or are you referring to expanding the concept into a design as what you need help with?

Hi all.

I am very new to this programme. Was just wondering if someone could please tell me where to find "waves".

Thanks

Pascal,

Try searching the 'Plugins' section of the forum.

This contains links to many effect plugins that are not part of the PDN core program, plus instructions on how to download and install them.

There's also a direct link to the Waves plugin in my tutorial for Curved Tile Texture

Hi alone!

Are you looking for a plugin? So, click on the paint.net logo to go to the index of this forum. Then select the sub-forum plugins. You should find all most recent (or active) plugins on the first page.
