AndWeWereFlying
I just did a ton of work on my project, but the layers switched on me and now I did about half my project in the wrong layer...is there anyway possible to retrieve it or move it to a new layer? Simon Brown
Do you need to be able to use the content you have overwritten or simply seperate one set of content from another?
Simon Brown
If the project is still open and has not been closed since, save it and then keep pressing Ctrl-Z until the work you have done on that layer has been undone, then save under a different name. Open the first image, use the selection tools to delete all other content on that layer, save just that layer (under a seperate name) and combine this with the image you saved after Ctrl-Z. Wow I never knew this either. I made this same mistake the other day and had to start all over. Thanks simon.
AndWeWereFlying
Ah...I see now! but, after I select it, because the work was done on the background (which is a sketch) it's not getting rid of the stuff I already did.... Is there no way to just undo the work, undo the part where I switched layers, and then redo all the work without actually doing it all by hand again?
