Even UNINSTALLING the previous version takes a ridiculous amount of time. Paint.net is the ONLY program that gives me this disproportionate problem, so don't point fingers about my PC again. So which is more likely: 1. There is something FUNDAMENTALLY wrong with the installation procedure, as you claim? or 2. Your PC is underpowered / you have a HDD / anti-virus is slowing down the decompression and installation? You were asked about the specification of your PC. You chose not to give any details.
