sherrythegreat
I'm looking to place some text on a lotion tube. Any guidance on how to do it? I've seen 3d mocks but I don't know if paint.net is capable of those designs
Pixey
Welcome to the forum @sherrythegreat A Plugin called Shape3D is a good way, but a tad fiddly to use. There is also another Plugin call Tube Oblique. 1 Quote How I made Jennifer & Halle in Paint.net My Gallery | My Deviant Art "Rescuing one animal may not change the world, but for that animal their world is changed forever!" anon. lynxster4
Welcome @sherrythegreat I don't know how proficient you are at PDN but your request can also be achieved by using @MJW's Height map plugins. You would need to read through them thoroughly. Here's what I did in a few minutes. I made a separate file with the text on it. Then I downloaded a black tube silhouette. I separated the cap from the body and used Texture Object Rounder on both. I then smoothed the image layers with Texture Smoother. Then I used Texture Shader to apply the text to the tube. There is quite a learning curve with these plugins but it's definitely worth it! Good luck! 😊 2 Quote My Art Gallery | My Shape Packs | ShapeMaker Mini Tut | Air Bubble Stained Glass Chrome Text with Reflections | Porcelain Text w/ Variegated Coloring | Realistic Knit PatternOpalescent Stained Glass | Frosted Snowman Cookie | Leather Texture | Plastic Text | Silk Embroidery Visit my Personal Website "Never, ever lose your sense of humor - you'll live longer"
