Adam870
Hello, Paint .Net is the best, but every time I need to save .jpg, I need to click File > Save As > change type to .jpg > click Save > click "Flatten" layers > click OK with compression 90% > then click Ctr + Z to continue working on layers. It would be great to have File > "Overwrite screenshot.5.jpg" to do all these with one click, applying all previously chosen settings. Also, it would be great if it read the last chosen file name and if it ended with number, e.g. "screenshot5.jpg", then there could be "File > Save screenshot6.jpg." which would save it with previously chosen settings. Lemonade
Hey @Adam870, maybe keyboard shortcuts would speed up the process: CTRL+S save file or CTRL+SHIFT+S if a pdn file already exists (if pdn exists, CTRL+S will save-overwrite pdn file) Filename is already in focus, type name (without .extension) TAB to switch to Save as Type, and hit arrow down few times (3 times for jpg) and press ENTER SAVE button is in focus so it is safe to press ENTER to confirm For Save Configuration window: TAB (3 times) to focus on quality slider (move with arrows), or 4 times to enter a new value TAB if you need other Chroma Subsampling (or ignore if default is alright) ENTER to Save (OK button is focused) ENTER to flatten CTRL+Z to Undo SHIFT+TAB moves backward. I know it looks like a lot of shortcuts.

Much easier: Ctrl + Shift + C Ctrl + Alt + V Ctrl + S To update the JPG image from your developing image, Ctrl + Shift + C Navigate to the JPG image Ctrl + V Ctrl + S Repeat as many times as you like. 1 Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker

Adam870
Wow, thanks for so many replies, and the amount of explanation surprised me Shortcuts don't solve the issue though, they need to be clicks. However, I'm perfectly happy not to have this feedback aproved.
