Paint.net 5.01 install fails on Windows 11 - looking for a missing resource

I followed the prompt to upgrade Paint.net to 5.01 on a Windows 11 PC, and I'm getting an error:

"The feature you are trying to user is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder

containing the installation package

'PaintDotNet_x64_593901032.msi' in the box below.  "

Any advice?  Thanks in advance--

Sounds like you have an existing paint.net installation that has become broken. Please use this utility to remove the broken installation:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed

Afterwards, you should be able to install paint.net again.

(September 25th, 2023)  Sorry about any broken images in my posts. I am aware of the issue.
