fixit9660 Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 I've got a series of photos, some with as many as 23 people featured. I want to be able to make a way to list the people and identify where they are in the photo. I have seen a method which involves creating a new layer for each and every person in the photo - somewhat tedious. I'm sure there must be a better way to do this. I'm thinking that I should be able to create one extra layer and in it, draw around the outlines of those featured. Then add some text for their names and print the resulting "outlines and names" layer. I'll be damned if I can work out how to do it though. I've even bought a drawing tablet specifically to facilitate this. Quote
Pixey Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 You could: 1. Make a new layer and draw boxes over the heads. 2. New layer and add their names. 3. Flatten. 1 Quote How I made Jennifer & Halle in Paint.net My Gallery | My Deviant Art "Rescuing one animal may not change the world, but for that animal their world is changed forever!" anon.
Ego Eram Reputo Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 How about using a side-by-side legend? Ego Eram Reputo Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Sounds like a job for a spreadsheet if you're reusing lists Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
